Welcome to Arizona Warrior Assembly (AWA)

a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving veterans, first responders, and individuals impacted by high-stress service.

Arizona Warrior Assembly delivers scalable, community-based programs that support healing, resilience, and long-term reintegration. We combine peer mentorship with structured experiences delivered alongside trusted providers of integrative wellness services, helping participants transition from survival mode into stability, purpose, and meaningful community connection.

Our work emphasizes measurable outcomes, including reduced isolation, improved emotional well-being, and increased engagement in family, work, and community life. We track participation, retention, and self-reported progress indicators to evaluate impact and continuously strengthen program effectiveness.

By creating accessible and welcoming entry points, we help bridge gaps in traditional systems and reach individuals who may be underserved or disengaged from conventional care.

Arizona Warrior Assembly

Our Mission

Arizona Warrior Assembly (AWA) provides accessible, peer-led pathways to healing and reintegration for individuals impacted by trauma, especially military veterans and first responders.

Through structured, community-based programs, AWA supports participants in strengthening resilience, rebuilding identity, and reconnecting with purpose.

Our programs integrate:

AWA meets individuals where they are, without requiring a diagnosis or prior system involvement. We recognize that stress and trauma impact the whole person, and we provide practical tools and supportive environments that foster long-term stability and growth.

Our work is grounded in respect, accountability, and personal responsibility. We create structured spaces where individuals can rebuild their lives, strengthen relationships, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Through this work, AWA helps transform cycles of challenge into pathways of resilience, leadership, and service.

Arizona Warrior Assembly

Our Vision

Arizona Warrior Assembly envisions a future where individuals shaped by high-stress and traumatic experiences have clear, accessible pathways to healing, purpose, and community reintegration.

We see a model where lived experience becomes a foundation for leadership, and where individuals once defined by survival are empowered to contribute, mentor others, and strengthen the communities around them.

Through scalable, peer-led programming, AWA works to expand access to effective, community-based support models reducing isolation, improving well-being, and building stronger, more connected communities.
